Marijuana Strain: Super Skunk

The cross-breeding of the notorious Skunk #1 strain with Skunk Special resulted in the creation of this marijuana variety. Super Skunk wasn’t created in one go. It took a whole lot of effort for breeders to cross-breed Skunk #1 males and females with numerous Afghan cultivators. And though these efforts resulted in various other weed strains, it was only in 1990 that the desired outcome was achieved — the super Skunk strain. It was also during that year that this weed variety won in the High Times Harvest Festival, going so far as to beat its parent Skunk #1.

Skunk seeds are among the easiest marijuana seeds to grow, and are thus suitable for beginners. It produces abundant yields and is suitable for indoor growing environments, as well as for shed or greenhouse settings. Growing skunk is easier than growing and manicuring the arguably more popular white strains.
True to its name, the Super Skunk marijuana plant packs quite an aroma too. Just touching it or brushing against it can increase the power of its odor. (Don’t worry, there are steps you can take to control the odor of your marijuana grow.

The growth of Super Skunk weed plants is typically low and slow, though it can flower rapidly. Super Skunk buds are known to grow in dense clusters, with each bud having fat and round characteristics. The plant’s stems are thick and the branches heavy.
Feminized Super Skunk seeds are famous for their enormous colas crystal-like trichomes, which are achieved with even just a little TLC.
